ACEC Ohio Members Take an Active Role at ACEC National Forums in Cleveland

ACEC Ohio was well represented at the 2026 ACEC National Forums, held September 27–29 in Cleveland, with nearly 50 Ohio attendees joining engineering professionals from across the country for several days of learning, networking and peer-to-peer discussion.

ACEC National’s Annual Forums bring together professionals with similar responsibilities within engineering firms to openly share best practices, explore challenges and solutions, and discuss trends affecting the A/E industry. The Forums include focused opportunities in Business Development & Marketing, Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology and Women’s Leadership, with opportunities for members to stay connected through ACEC’s online communities throughout the year. 

Ohio members did more than attend this year’s event. Several helped lead important conversations and share their expertise with colleagues from across the country.

Joy Lanham of Lanham Engineering and Monica Mosure of ms consultants participated on a panel during the Women’s Leadership Forum, which connects professionals focused on advancing the representation of women in ACEC leadership and throughout the A/E industry. The Forum provides opportunities for networking, resource sharing and continued engagement beyond the annual event. 

Tim O’Rourke of Wade Trim participated on a panel focused on digital transformation, a topic highlighted during this year’s Forums as firms continue exploring how technology and data can strengthen their operations and position them for the future. 

Laurie Lulg of LJB also represented Ohio as a participant on a panel discussing immigration through the Business Development & Marketing Forum.

Having the National Forums in Cleveland provided a great opportunity for even more ACEC Ohio members to participate, connect with peers from across the country and bring new ideas and perspectives back to their firms.
