ACEC Ohio Committees hard at work, see what is going on

Transportation Committee—on November 8^th, ACEC Ohio hosted a networking breakfast and retirement send-off for Mr. Lyle Flower, Administrator, Office of Consultant Services. Approximately 100 ACEC Ohio members thanked Lyle for his service at ODOT and welcomed Mat Mauger as he takes over Lyle’s role. State Public Works Committee—recently hosted Ms. Bobbi Bell-Bartholomew, Program Administrator for the Equal Opportunity Division of the Ohio Department of Administrative Services. She discussed the EDGE Program with the committee. The next ACEC Ohio/AIA/OFCC Liaison Committee meeting will take place on December 20^th and the full committee will meet again on January 28, 2018 at 10am.
Environment & Energy Committee—hosted Ms.Glenda Bumgarner, Senior Director of External Engagement for JobsOhio during their November meeting. Ms. Bumgarner discussed the programs, goals, business sectors and partnerships of JobsOhio. Click on: JobsOhio Presentation for more information. The next meeting will be January 23, 2018 at 10am with Mr. Tim Hill, Administrator of the Office of Environmental Services at ODOT.

Alternative Delivery Methods—joint subcommittee with ACEC Ohio, Ohio Contractor’s Association and ODOT. This group is focused on Design Build and plans to discuss other delivery methods on a quarterly basis.
Consultant Inspection/Administration—joint subcommittee with ACEC Ohio and ODOT met to discuss ODOT’s CI/CA ideas to change the method of payment.
