Get involved at ACEC Ohio--Committee and Chapter Updates

November is a busy month for ACEC Ohio

Most of ACEC Ohio's Committee's will be meeting in the month of November. Currently scheduled Committee meetings are:

• Transportation Committee--hosting a networking breakfast and retirement send-off for Mr. Lyle Flower during the meeting on November 8^th at the Heritage Golf Club in Hilliard. Breakfast and sign-in will begin at 9am followed by the meeting at 10am.
  
  
• Communication’s Subcommittee for the Engineering Excellence Awards will meet at 10am on November 10^th to begin planning for our March Awards luncheon.
  
  
• State Public Works Committee will meet at Karpinksi Engineering in Columbus beginning at 10am on November 16^th to discuss ongoing issues.  
  
  
• Government Affairs Committee will hold a Conference Call on November 17^th at 10am.
  
  
• Environment & Energy Committee that will be holding their next meeting on November 21st at ACEC Ohio beginning at 10am as well.

Three of our four Chapters will be hosting the ACEC Ohio panel (NE Ohio hosted this panel discussion in September).  The panel includes an update on key initiatives in ACEC Ohio's strategic plan and will engage chapter membership to hear feedback on these initiatives. This panel will also discuss legislative and advocacy issues at both the State and Federal level.

These meetings are scheduled as follows:

• Wednesday, November 1^st - Southwest Chapter from 11:30am-1:30pm at the Cincinnati Marriott North.
• Friday, November 10^th - Central Chapter 11:30am-1:30pm at the Scioto Country Club.
• Tuesday, November 14^th - Northwest Chapter from 11:30am - 1:30pm at the Brandywine Country Club.
