New Staff at ACEC Ohio

ACEC Ohio Communication-Membership Specialist

Aimee RupertSince Don and Cindy Mader have both retired, you’ll see a couple of new faces at ACEC Ohio. In addition to the new Executive Director Beth Easterday, please welcome Aimee Rupert to the newly-created role of communication-membership specialist. She comes to us with a well-rounded background in implementing strategies for marketing and communications including events management, member information, media/brand management and related administrative duties.

Aimee was selected for the role based on more than 20 years of professional communication experience working at both the State of Ohio and a membership-based technical engineering society. She most recently served as public relations specialist and publications project manager with the Ohio Development Services Agency TourismOhio office. Prior to that she worked for the American Ceramic Society as the manager of promotions.

A graduate of Otterbein University with a B.A. in Communications and Public Relations, Aimee, originally from Wintersville, Ohio, currently resides in Westerville, Ohio, with her family. She is a member of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), the PRSA Association/Nonprofit Section, and serves as a professional advisor to the Otterbein University Chapter of the Public Relations Student Society of America.
