FOR Ohio Update--March 19, 2019

The Senate Transportation, Commerce and Workforce Committee introduced a substitute transportation budget bill (HB 62) today.  The substitute bill did not change the House passed version of the gas tax increase (10.7 cents on gas, 20 cents on diesel), however the Chair was very specific changes would be forthcoming in the omnibus amendment.  The substitute bill offered a number of provisions including:
